3 Tips for Spring Cleaning at Vue32

April 19th, 2019

With a fresh, new season upon us, it’s time to reevaluate our homes and our lives. That means it’s officially spring cleaning season. Whether you’ve already been tidying up or could use a few pointers, these three tips will make your spring cleaning at Vue32 a little easier.

Pay Attention to the Little Details

Deep cleaning is all about minding the details. Whatever rooms you’ll be cleaning this year, pay attention to those spots that you typically ignore in your weekly cleaning routine. Cut down on a smelly kitchen sink by running some lemon rinds through your garbage disposal. Be sure to rotate your mattress. This helps you sleep better and ensures that your mattress lasts longer. You can also eliminate your use of plastic grocery bags by switching to reusable ones. Remember that these need to be cleaned as well. You can do this by running them through the wash every once in a while. Also, be sure to wipe down the insides of drawers and bins inside your fridge. These small details can make all the difference in your cleaning process.

Marie Kondo’s “Tidying Up” made quite the impression on many when it first premiered on Netflix at the beginning of the year. Take a page out of Marie’s book by decluttering your home. Go from room to room and ask yourself which items “spark joy” and toss the ones that don’t. You can do this for everything from clothing to paper clutter.

Add in Preventative Measures

Consider adding in some preventative measures to make your next deep clean a little bit easier. Place door mats at the entrance of your apartment home at Vue32. This will help to trap more dirt and it keep it from entering your home via your shoes. You can also consider taking shoes off upon entering your home. This will help keep your floors clean for just a little longer.
